REVIEW: Peppa’s Laugh & Learn Laptop

Now if there is one thing I have learnt over the years, it is that children love playing with toys that look like grown up gadgets and Peppa’s Laugh & Learn Laptop is your child’s very own computer! The laptop has four different activity modes which can be chosen by sliding the selector key up and down. The question marks mode will help your child discover all sorts of things such as objects, colours, numbers, shapes, letters and lots more by pressing all of the different laptop buttons.

Slide the selector key to the image of Peppa with a magnifying glass and Peppa will ask you to find something that will light up on the screen. A great way to aid your child’s listening and recognition skills as they may have to find colours, numbers or letters.

The next selection shows and image of George holding balloons where Peppa will again ask your child questions about pictures on the laptop. These questions will help to develop your child’s listening and communication skills while being easily able to hold your child’s concentration with the engaging colours and sounds.

The last stop on the selection key shows musical notes which your child will have great fun with as they will hear a variety of sounds such as piano notes, musical tunes and silly sounds! Your child can also play music and compose their own tunes which will help to improve hand-eye coordination. The two blue buttons at the side of the laptop also play music and you can put it in to sleep mode at any point by simply closing the lid.

The laptop is lightweight and has a handy carry handle so that your little one can take it wherever they go so they feel super important! Another fantastic educational toy from the Peppa Pig range, it encourages an assortment of early skills and is suitable from two years old so it is perfect for when those important skills are emerging. Peppa’s Laugh & Learn Laptop takes 3 AAA batteries, it is available at Argos and retails at £15.00 (at time of writing). Buy it here!
