REVIEW: My Little Treasure from Baby Art

The My Little Treasure box is an absolutely beautiful chest in which you can keep baby keepsakes, as well as having a special place on top that you can display your child’s hand or foot print which can be made using the included kit.

The box has three drawers at the front which are a good size as they are almost as deep as the box (12cm), under these is one large drawer and there is also one drawer in each side. Each drawer has a small ribbon tab so that you can pull them out easily and under the lid are four compartments and a space for adding a photo. One large ribbon is tied to keep the box lid secure.

The box comes with a small tube of baby-safe white paint, a roller for application and instructions for use. I decided to do a footprint as my mini reviewer was far too interested in trying to grab everything with his hands! For the print you use the blank card which sits in the lid of the box, open the tube of paint and use the roller to apply it all over your child’s hand or foot. As quickly as possible, before it dries, hold your child’s hand down on to the card while keeping it as still as you can to make the print and then take the card away and leave it to dry for a few hours. Make sure you wash the paint off your baby straight away! The print can then be displayed on top of the keepsake box.

The box can be used to store all sorts of mementos such as your baby’s hospital bracelet, a first lock of hair, first booties, special gifts and even baby teeth once they are a little older. I really like the size of this box (21cm L x 13cm W x 15cm H), it stores so much more than any baby memory boxes I have had in the past as it makes such good use of space.

The My Little Treasure baby keepsake box would make the perfect baby shower or christening gift and I love the unisex colours. It currently retails for £24.99 and you can browse the range of other other from Baby Art here.
