REVIEW: Very Little Rapunzel by Teresa Heapy

I love this story which tackles an issue common to so many schools and nurseries. Very Little Rapunzel really is very little – but she has very long hair, just like her namesake. But when, one day, a very little prince climbs the tower using Rapunzel’s hair, he brings some unwelcome visitors. How will Mummy cope with all that hair to brush and such a tiny comb? Very Little Rapunzel makes a big decision… and finds the perfect use for her hair. Sue Heap’s lovely illustrations complement a really well told story that brings a fun approach to a very sensitive topic and it would be great to share with any class when those (unnecessarily) dreaded letters are going home.
