We’ve been using bandana shape bibs since our eldest was a baby (over 7 years ago), we found that they had a better fit round the neck which meant that more dibble (and sick) was caught and stopped the clothes underneath getting wet so quickly. Funky Giraffe Bibs have a gorgeous collection of bibs for you to choose from; the designs are fresh and fun and there are so many to choose from that there is something to suit every taste. The quality of the bibs is outstanding, made from cotton on the front and a lovely soft fleece layer on the back which helps to stop any dampness soaking through. The bandana bibs come with nickel-free popper fastenings and the printed bibs have a water-based ink used on them which is solvent free. Each bib has the Funky Giraffe motif on a label stitched on to the side which also contains washing instructions.
Also available are matching bib and teether sets; I love the design of these teethers – they have a wooden ring and tied on to the ring is the fabric that matches the bib in two petal shapes. They are really easy for little ones to grab and hold and I think the combination of materials makes them really interesting and tactile for babies.
Funky Giraffe bibs are great value for money, at just £3.00 each or £5.00 for the matching teether sets. There is also a range of other accessories on their website and we recommend the ‘Scood’ scarves as they are safe for little ones with popper fastenings at the back and will keep them just as warm as a standard scarf.
